If you follow me on social media you may have already seen a few post today already about my new sofa. But I love it so much I have to share!

Every since my divorce I have been sofa-less. For a short period of time I lived with my parents and yes they had a sofa for me to sit on but most of my stuff and my time was spent in my bedroom. It was my little sanctuary and my office for my emerging eBay business/ re-emering Etsy business.
With the move back to Akron and getting my own apartment, I used my grandfather’s old day bed as a sofa. It was okay, it was practical(-ish) and I didn’t have the budget to buy any new furniture at that point. (Completely starting over sucks). That apartment was riddled with issues and I had to move only after 1 year of living there. Luckily it was for the best.
My coworker’s husband does maintenance for an apartment company and they had an opening and it was absolutely perfect for me. And it is saving me $100 a month! Being an old apartment building, probably dating back to the 1900’s, it didn’t really have any walls in the living space to set my daybed up as a sofa. So I had to breakdown and get a new sofa and luckily for me I work for a furniture company. After weeks of trying to decide which one I should get, I decided on the Coburn. It’s a modular sofa and I order 2 of the corner pieces to make a sofa. It is perfect.

My cat loves the wide arms to walk across and the deep seats are great to cuddle up in. And yes, I did partially pick my sofa because of how my cat would like it. Don’t be ashamed if you have too, sooo many of my clients base their opinions around their fur babies, its completely normal.
Over the past couple years I’ve realized that its the little things (or big giant things that take up your whole living room but thats okay because it makes you feel good) that make people happy. My new sofa makes me happy. Here is to sharing our everyday happies with everyone!
